How to get started
First steps to buy images
View&Buy: out of all our pictures you can choose your favourites and click onto the picture to enlarge the image. If the image is the picture of your choice please follow up and click at CLICK&BUY and put down your address. You need to accept our terms of business. Now you can start the online download. You got a 12 hour time frame to start reloads, if some problems during the download may come up.

The first steps to sell your Images
Any hairdresser and photographer can open up an account at hairstyleimages.com for free. Just fill in your adress, contact and bank details. Now you can start to upload your images. After the succesfull sales of your images, we will resieve a small commision.

Please upload your individual image as JPEG (RGB Mode), other formats are - at this time - not supported. The filesize shouldn't be any larger than 2MB. Larger Size please send on CD/DVD
As soon as your account is accepted, your files will be available for sale on the site. Information regarding your earnings you find on this page as well.

Problem: I cannot distinguish between watermarked and non-watermarked images. When I click on them, they all have a watermark. Can you help?
Our site provides various sizes of small thumbnails and a larger version (comp) that includes a transparent watermark (our logo as a semitransparent layer centered on the image). Note that this is needed for security reasons and the high-resolution version you will download (using the download button) is free of any watermarks.
Problem: I forgot my login details, how do I find them?
In order to retrieve your login details username please send an email to support.
Problem: I have just registered but I cannot access my account, where's the problem?

What method of payment do you accept?
We partnered with click buy to provide you several options for buying the images. You can pay using your account or if you don't have one, using your credit card via the click&buy option. Click&buy accepts all major credit.
Do I have to give credit for the image?
Yes. A credit line such as "Hairdresser: Peter Smith | Photographer: Ralph Peters" has to be placed close to the images.
Are the images free of watermarks?
All high-resolution images you download have no watermarks. The only images watermarked are the thumbnails visible on the site. You can download a file by using the Download button located on the Image details page, right below the description. Read the information from the 'Download confirmation' page carefully as it contains useful information regarding how to successfully retrieve the file in various ways.
Problem: The file I just downloaded is not 300dpi, which is the standard for printed materials. Why?
The images you downloaded are output by different cameras, scanners or other equipment. The default resolution on some of them could be lower than 300 dpi. This doesn't mean that the file is not usable. Use any graphical software to adjust its resolution (if you are using Adobe Photoshop, make sure you uncheck the "resample image" option before changing the resolution of the file to 300dpi).

To Hairdressers and Photographers

To Hairdressers – Licensee and Copyrights of your Photos
If you are a hairdresser and you like to submit your hairstyle and you are not the photographer please be aware that you are facing a little challenge, you need to solve in the first place.
To be able to submit your photo shootings on hairstyleimages.com you basically need a contract between you and the photographer, mentioning that he sells you for a reasonable amount, all rights for the photos he made as a hired photographer by you.
Such contract is not yet available on our site, you will need to contact a local lawyer specialized in copyright protection, that should also add its signature and details on the contract.
The contract should include small images of all photos made, that
you want to submit with us.
A scanned copy of the contract needs to be attached to your submission.

Any hairdresser and photographer can open up an account at hairstyleimages.com, however we only accept quality-based hairstyle photos for inclusion in our database. We carefully review each application received. You may open your account by registering and uploading your first files. If they are approved, you will see them on your personal account.
As soon as your account is accepted, your files will be available for sale on the site.
For each transaction, the hairdresser or photographer receives about a 50 percent fee (depending on bank fee´s – transferring the money to your account). Each hairdresser/photographer may request to be paid for his/her sales on hairstyleimages.com as soon as the buyer has fulfilled his payment. The payment is transferred to your bank account.

Bank rates: we are using an international online payment system which allows all companies world wide to download your images. Because of the international bank and exchanges rates we will be charged up to 15% commission rate for this service.
Hairstyleimages earnings: for providing our plattform hairstyleimages may resieve:
100% - 15%(bank rates) - 60% for you = 25% for hairstyleimages
Hairstyleimages.com acts as an agency providing quality hairstyle images to professionals of the industry, as well as helping hairdressers to sell their hairstyle portfolio online. Each uploaded image becomes subject to our terms and conditions, and you must own the rights for each image you upload to our database.
